First off I have to say that is an amazing find Graham! Very very cool to find such a neat history on the club! Thanks for posting that up. I'd like to read it further when not entertaining the family.
As for the garage height, I haven't measured but it's a low door. Most likely only a 6'6" door.... High enough for the Corvette! And you guys are right. The rails would have to be raised.
