4+3 tranny replacement choices

I have a 1984 with the CFI and a 4+3......what year and model (caddy, camaro...etc) of automatic trannys will replace my 4+3. just looking for options at this time (would prefer an auto due to bad knees)

should be able to use a 200r4 or 700r4 as long as it has the chev bolt pattern. the buick, olds, pontiac, and caddy have a different bolt pattern, although, some transmissions have a dual pattern.

Might be less expensive and troublesome to sell yours and buy an automatic car. Your 4+3 is desired by some folk and hard to find. You could end up with a similar or better car and money in your pocket. Swapping cars with someone might also be a consideration.
