2024 Price Increase

Been trying to see if there is any firm news yet on a 2024 price increase. I'm willing to bet it will be a significant amount.

Porsche increased prices by anywhere from 7'000 to 11'000.
I was also sticker shocked by how much the MSRP on 2024 mustang is,

I can't even guess what the price increase will be. I was just looking at Porsche 911 price increase (the online configurator now also includes Canadian lux tax) and a base 911 Carrera cabriolet with few options now costs the same as a fully loaded 3LZ HTC E-Ray or Z06 while those models compete with Turbo S and GT3 models. This tells me we will have more and more Porsche people switching to the C8.

I was going to buy a base 911 as my daily driver. Base price increased $9,500 plus freight increased $1,100 and dealers are charging as much as $1,850 for PDI (which used to be $995). Most are also mandating $25,000 in options to get an allocation. Add luxury tax to all of these increases too and you are closing in on $200k for a 379hp base. I’m out!
I put deposits back on C8 Stingray and an E-Ray yesterday. I still have a 911 (993) as a fun car, so I am ok with the wait. However, I suspect I’ll have a chance to buy a cancellation when one comes up.

Porsche’s CFO said in a shareholder meeting last week that they are going to be increasing prices substantially on all models and pretty much said that they are doing it because “our customer’s will pay”. EV’s will be 15% more than their ICE versions of the same models.

How does that saying go? You wanna play you gotta pay?

The days of "economical" performance are perhaps behind us. And I'm surprised the '24 increase isn't $10K. They know there's a line up for the cars!

That’s exactly why I walked away from Porsche and ended up with the C8! I am so happy Porsche were being jerks!!

Buying a Porsche is a game especially the GT models.

Want one? They will only sell you one if you buy a Cayenne, Macan or multiples of each...then you'll get a chance. What I love right now is seeing all of the GT3s and GT4s sitting on a ton of lots with premiums falling like mad.
