Thanks for the stats and table, paints 2 pictures for me (sales), the colours that are liked/purchased the most, and therefore more classic for the long run (to keep or resale) like TR, RM, AW, BL, and then there is the other camp of people who will avoid those colours because too common and wanting something more rare (assuming keeping car and not caring as much about resale) like AY, SG, SO, ZB. I can see why ZB replaced by CAF and SG replaced by HG based on sales numbers alone. The stats on the interiors also helps some of us see what the popular choices are for a given exterior color. For example, I have heard/read many say NOT to go with Natural for SO, yet it is the 2nd most popular choice after black. I would have expected Grey to be above Natural for SO. On the RB side, no surprise, TW/TB or SCG top pics. I know black interiors are safer, stay cleaner, but surprised to see the margin so high compared to the rest. For example, for RM and TR was expecting way more Natural interiors than that.

Thanks for this info !!

I can't believe that only 9% of HTC customers opted for Carbon Flash Nacelles and only 35% with Carbon Flash Roof. I'm shocked.
I thought the same thing, everyone these days looking for that European exotic look with the entire top blacked out. My guess is that this table will look different come next year for things like roof and HTC orders. Guessing colors should remain relatively similar, people staying safe with the usual reds, white, black, expecting HG to be a big hit and move up the charts. My surprise is more around the interior colors, most playing it safe with black when the colored inserts and seats look so interesting. With some exterior colors (like the reds for example) was expecting Natural to rule. With other exterior colors was expecting the grey interior to rule. No surprise, RB with TW/TB was a popular combo.

IMO the Natural and Cool sky grey are way too light. I'd much prefer the Natural (tan) to be darker and richer like Ferraris and the grey to be much darker and not so .... white!
A shade richer would have been better for Natural. But I've done black and red seating in some other cars and wanted a change. I don't regret the Natural one bit....there's never been a time when I looked back at the car and said, "damn, I should have gone with black". Not that black looks bad, but I wanted something different.

Sky cool grey on its own is a bit too much for my liking, but with the dark 2-tone on rapid blue. Now that looks sharp.

That does look sweet in the 2-tone grey. Might have to consider that as an option if AO is my exterior color of choice. If my choice is RB on the other hand, tougher decision as the TW/TB is sweet and original !!

I'm sure most are going aftermarket, NPP is still underwhelming
npp gives the computer control of the valves. If you just want aftermarket you won't get that control.

In the case of aftermarket like the Borla S-Type or ATAK, my understanding is that if you want to retain the valve control via the Borla, one still has to order/pay for the NPP in order to get the valves and in-cabin button control, which is then carried over to the Borla setup (valves). Which I guess means that one still has to fork out money for NPP (to allow for valve control) and then again for a Borla setup, and then try to sell the NPP factory setup to recoup some money (possibly without the valves since they seem to be reused with the Borla setup). Will enjoy the NPP initially, will give me something to look forward to upgrading down the road. For now just dreaming of owning the damn car while waiting to drop down on the list !!

The Armytrix Exhaust system will also match the C8's valve controls but like the Borla, you need to start with the NPP to have the onboard computer set-up and enable different modes to switch to different exhaust sounds for you.

Moral of this story: if you've got ++ bucks to spend on these high-end aftermarket exhaust systems, you can get a system that works the same as the OEM NPP.
