*The 2020 sales are in ( ) for comparison
* New 2021 colors were compared to the 2020 discontinued color it was closest to
* No surprise, Red Mist was the biggest mover

Nobody seems to know why the last N/A vin was 26139 but the build number was 26216.
One thing for sure is the cars are not built in vin order persay
They sprinkled in other vins. The difference was 77 but I can't find a reason for the missing vins

When a unit initially enters the assembly line, it's expectation is to be driven off the end.....in sequence.
Sometimes, a unit needs to be "pulled" out of sequence, and re-entered at a later time.
Various reasons. Repainting of a section is a common one.
If a repair can be taken care of post assembly, in the plant, in "final repair" (most common), or in QC, vins will always run in sequence.

Thanks for that. I didn't know that.
But what I don't get is why the last vin produced was 26139 yet there was 26216 cars produced. One would think that last vin should have been 26216. Do they build CTF's every year and include them in the stats (colours, seat type, etc.)? You'd think the stats are reported so one can see option preferences.
