2021 htc at Wheaton Chevy

The Autotrader ad mentions the MSRP at $139,493 and the asking price $140,094 + taxes. That can't be MSRP, even for a 3LT convertible. And the photos show no Z51 package, nor the carbon fibre interior option but it does have upgraded black rims, edge-red calipers, carbon flash nacelles and roof, plus black mirrors. Depending upon other options like the performance exhaust, I'd guesstimate the MSRP to be around $105,000 plus gst. It has a stock # and mentions 3km on the odometer, so it looks to have been an existing vehicle for sale and not something you could order. I wonder what it actually sold for. Rruuff Day has connections in Red Deer so perhaps he'll know.

Send me the VIN!

Just checked Wheaton Chevrolet website and all of the details listed on this forum are still showing current on the Red Deer site. The ad is somewhat screened, so if you want to view the details add "Corvette" in the filters for new cars and you will see this Corvettes for sale. Too bad I can't add three zeros to my $150 that I have to spend.

Stay far away from that dealership.

A friend of mine in BC was trying to work at deal on a C8 they had posted and negotiated an over list price. They took his deposit and two days later called him and said "well it looks like the original owner now might want to take it after all but with that being said the price is now $10k more. We'll call you in two days as to whether he'll go with it".

My friend immediately told them to piss off and got his deposit back.

Hello, I’m sure this car has been pre-sold and is not available for sale. GM’s policy is to advertise all incoming vehicles regardless of their sold status. I’ve discussed the frustration shopping customers have with this policy and the sales staff agree but can do nothing.
