Here are the colour choices for 2021 from the US Corvette forum of 372 people who answered their poll:

I think that it actually has more to do with people actually seeing the C8 in person. For example Rapid Blue was way down the list for 2020 production. I ordered that colour for my 2020 which was a big gamble when I hadn’t seen it in person. But there is a reason that GM uses it on their website because it is sexy!
