Hi Everyone, I'm sitting at a Timmies waiting to pick up the missus and decided to break radio silence.

The planning has started! Here is the initial route for you to peruse, discuss, antagonize over and plain figure out. Based on the 2019 RMC we have a lot to live up to. Some items we took note of:
Roads are key. The more interesting the better!
Less time sitting more time driving.
Food and service once we are stopped must meet our expectations.
Location, Location, Location. Where we stay over is just as important as where we drive. The bonfire was a big hit and the mountain location couldn't be beat.
Having a raffle for a really cool prize was a terrific addition to the cruise this year.

We are constantly learning about how to deliver an enjoyable event that people want to keep coming back to. Keeping some things a surprise is always good and building on what we have done. 2020 will be the 7th Rocky Mountain Cruise and it's time to let everyone know what our thoughts are.

We would start midday Friday, yes Friday. We see a bit of extra time to get a roll on on the adventure. 2020 is the year we cross the border! we are heading south! The map below will give you a basic route. Clockwise or counter clockwise we are still considering the options for hotels and viewpoints for passengers and all of us to snap photos. The one item we are considering is limiting the number of cars next year due to hotels, etc. More on this later. So without further adieu............

Okay I'm ready, when do we book hotels?

More to come. Yes there's so many routes and sites to see throughout our mountains and south as well. I drove the Road to the sun a couple of years ago and was blown away by the sheer majesty of the drive. Yes exchange kicks us but this is a change from other routes we have taken. This will be our 7th Annual cruise and so each year the itinerary changes.

Good winters day to all! Time to wake this thread up and update everyone on what’s been happening In the background. The planning is almost done! Here’s a teaser before we publish the route and hotel booking
2020 Rocky Mountain Cruise
- 4 day trip.
- around 1,500 km.
- a small portion on divided highways. Good majority of trip two lane undivided roads. Twists and turns, made for sports cars and motorcycles!
- It is all Canadian.
- bring your swimsuits.
- the scenery, stops, road and lunch stops are sure to please everyone.
- limited room for 25 cars.

Looking to finalize arrangements in the next two weeks and get it all out for Christmas. This will give everyone a chance to review and start booking!
