I posted screen shots from a PDF obtained from the Corvette Museum website under the Guides & Resources Section "C7"
See that section on this Forum for the separate thread.
From this I found the following interesting for 2017 C7 Production ...

General Motors has released the final 2017 model year Corvette stats.
A total of 32,782 Corvettes were produced:
34.3% Stingray Coupe
30.2% Grand Sport Coupe
18.9% Z06 Coupe
7% Stingray Convertible
6.2% Grand Sport Convertible
3.3% Z06 Convertible.

Automatics more than doubled the production of manuals at 77%.
The 1LT package was the most popular for Stingrays and Grand Sports
The 3LZ package was the most popular for the Z06

Arctic White was the most popular with 18%
Watkins Glen Gray with 17.7%
Black with 16%
Torch Red with 14%
Admiral Blue with 9%
Blade Silver with 6%
Long Beach Red with 6%
Corvette Racing Yellow with 4%
Black Rose with 4%
Sterling Blue with 2%
... if you add the two shades of red together, then “red” would be the most popular color with 20%.

Interesting that the 1LT was the most popular. It's hard to find one in Canada it seems...

As I was shopping this year I found that as well. I don't think it's the norm here in Alberta although 2016 1LT remains in inventory in August.
I did notice well-appointed 1LT with meaningful add-ons disappeared very quickly this year (Z51 and Performance Exhaust and Convertible add-ons)
(even without heads up). These beauties had a lot of 2LT/3LT features with $75k'ish MSRPs. Should General Sales Managers be reading this ... hint-hint for 2018 appointments. Colour mattered and being a Convertible as well. These buyers were obviously not dazzled by appearance features like suede interior and the exterior add-ons like a rear spoiler or the Grand Sport look. Basic 1LT's may likely have been more of a "hit" in the USA than in Canada.

Yes Spence the 1LTs are popular in the US. This trim level put the Stingray in the Buick price range. Banks hand out the $$ real quick for a guy wanting to buy one. Saw some videos from the US on why to buy a 1LT Corvette. Plus the sheer volume of US customers compared to Canada is likely the biggest factor.
For me there was no question as to the trim level I wanted. One of the main reasons I sold my 13 C6 Z06 was it was 2LZ. It was a fantastic car and I loved it, but I just wanted the 3LZ trim. Which seems to fit the listed Z06 demographic. If I was just racing the car for sure the 1LZ would be all I would be after but the car is a luxury toy for me. I want that 10 speakers, memory seats and suede man.

"We" aim at vehicles with everything. Then work on its best price. If successful, it resolves ever wishing that I had that option that was waivered. I am fortunate not having any episodes of Buyers' remorse ... but I just can't seem to live with myself if I get "I wish I had that option" remorse.
We are on the same page with 3LT and 3LZ even though it might be for slightly different reason(s). One thing I have been able to waiver on without regret are the tack-ons as in chrome that says "Denali" when the Sierra SLT2 can have everything except the tack-ons ... well so far ;)

You make a good point again as the 2LT or 2LZ with a few more specific options ordered has almost the same level as the 3LZ/3LT. One of the biggest being the Nav giving you the 10 speaker Bose and PDR features. Most 2Ls have this from the factory build but some don't. It would require patience to find that upfitted 2L or order one and wait. I have virtually no patience in this regard. I just tell the dealer what I want and keep saying no till they find it somewhere. I have experienced buyer remorse buying televisions yes..(who the hell ever actually uses the 3D feature?!)
Remorse after buying Corvettes.... never. Man all I need to do is look at it and I'm lost. I've never known anyone who regrets buying a Corvette. That feeling just doesn't go away.
As far as the add ons.... I'm guilty of those being a must have too. I usually torture myself for a while till I see it all installed... then that's done. I like the bit of uniqueness to my car. Which I should be seeing in a few days as it's in getting a bunch of things added now. :Hurray:

So hilarious ... "the 3D feature" ... I personally struggle to find a good 3D movie so that I can "use-up" the feature before my 3DTV craps out !
You wait ... photo to come this Winter with MikeysZ06 and my AB Feature on "What to do with time while in Corvette Hibernation" watching
my Man-cave 3D TV ... So funny ... (and damn, I just put my own thread off topic)
