Question Owais please, Are these prices the guaranteed starting prices for 2016 model year? I.e. there should not be another change for sold orders until later in the model year?

With the CAD dollar so low, I hope we dont see a price adjustment until late fall or later.

My Z06 has a TPW of August and I am hoping the price doesnt jump too soon.

I would appreciate your input.

Thanks

Matt

The price is the price as of the date of your order...the order that has the pending order number that is. Dealers are independent and don't have to follow this standard but I am seeing that all seem to. This of course excludes any premium your dealer may or may not have mentioned which is why it is so important to get these things ironed out on your initial contract when you make the deposit.

Hi Matt,

As far as I know a price adjustment is expected before the end of August. Sold Factory Orders will get the price protection credits.

The way Price Protection Credits work is this.

Suppose GM increases prices for all trims and all option prices by 10% and you chose the Z06 3LZ trim Auto Coupe with Z07 package then the current MSRP would come to $ 104885. So after a 10% increase across the board you are looking at $ 115375.

The Price protection is a standard discount applied across the 3LZ trim and is set in stone by GM Canada. Lets suppose that GM Canada assigns the Price Protection credit for Z06 3LZ as $ 5375 which does not account for any additional options you may have selected. In that case your purchase price will be $115375 - $5375 = $ 110000 + dealer admin etc + HST + Licensing.
