my local dealer said I get retail with an agreed trade in price

how do I know the retail is the proper amount as I am going in early next week to finalize prices off of the list you have so nicely included,
so the base retail prices are what and what is the proper name of the list that the figure comes off of and where can I get confirmation of it on the net

hint so the dealer does not just jack the price up 2 grand on my sheet and I then get price protection

I am going to guess by retail you mean MSRP? MSRP is as listed and if they state it, they won't lie to you. With respect to your car, do some searches and know its value before you go in because you know that will be where they try to benefit in the deal. Is your dealer Sherwood?

yes MSRP dealer is DV where I live,

it is just there is no base price (i.e. starting price no options) listed on any GM site yet

your 2016 C7 price lists have the OPTIONS prices but not the BASE PRICE


$65855 was the base price for a stingray 2LT base

cannot find the PROOF of the starting price at MSRP for the 2016 2LT non-z51

Build and price came up on the U.S. Chevy site this week. I specc'd out a a 2 LT with a couple of options and when converted to Cdn $ it came out at about $85k. The Cdn price from this thread (thanks Ojamali) comes in at about $74k. IF I've done the math right, it seems like we might be in for a price increase sooner rather than later. Any. Insights? On the fence about whether to trade my C6 but won't be in a position to decide until late August/early Sept.
