looking at buying a 2011 GS conv.The guy has replaced front tires front splitter and end spoilers.Not a real hands on guy ,what do these repairs mean. Possible front end damage?

Welcome to the forum Moe. Depending on mileage, front tires tend to worn out fast on the inside, about the spoiler and splitter, you have to ask if they where replace for damages or because he replace for the Z06/ZR1 style.
If you buy and don't track the car have the wheel alignement done with base model specifications and a less agressive camber, this will give you plenty of tire life and a less agressive reaction to road imperfections. My car now have -.4 camber on 4 wheels and it is nice and smooth compare with the -.95 OEM specifications, I can drive with one hand very easily compare than before when 2 hands was mandatory.

With the C6 being low the front spoiler & splitter, take all kinds of hits ...
There are tall tale signs that you can see yourself ....
Tires are uneven wear ....
Body is not fitted well ...
Front end body damage ...
Uneven gaps in hood, doors ....
Shinny new replacement parts engine bay area ...
Leaks & dips from under the Vette ...
If you are in doubt, take it to a garage you know ...
Put it up on the hoist and have it check it all out before you purchase ...

As Graham, Stephane and Bucks have said look really close for new parts other than the ones you mentioned. On a Corvette the items you mentioned really do take a beating. The others have given you good advice and if you are the least bit doubtful walk away.

I bought a 2011 GS Coupe last year with 40,000 kms on it.
All 4 tires were replaced at some time and my fronts will need replacing this summer. 45,000 Kms on the car now.
The fronts will wear out before the rears under normal driving.
I bumped my splitter a couple times so I'm not surprised to hear that the car had it's splitter replaced.
Only the owner can say if it has front end damage.
I'm real happy with my 11 GS.

welcome to the forum Moe, if you are dealing with the orig. owner, did he keep the old pieces? I sure would just to show why they were replaced... anytime you are replacing parts you should at least take pictures of any damage to show a prospective purchaser why replacement was necessary...
