If it was not tuned you would be throwing codes, not to mention it would not pass the Ontario E-test . So I'm pretty sure it has been tuned. The Vararam can be installed without tuning, however your vette will perform better if it is tuned. It is something we can certainly look at. By the way our dyno tunes are only $400.00.ThxManny@E.C.P
