At nearly 200 more HP I would have expected more of a difference. Ah well.
HP, not torque. Torque is the same so I'm sure there is a give and take as the Z06 needs rpm's to achieve that HP. I'm no engineer, but I can see there could be underlying arguments here.

There is a difference between a car with higher torque and less HP and a car with higher HP with lower torque.

best way to measure TQ is not peak, but area under the curve
here is a dyno sheet that shows both a Stingray (green) and a Z06 (blue)
