1982 Front and Gas Cap Flag Emblems

I have purchased a gas lid emblem for my '82 which is a perfect match to the old one, however, the nose emblem appears to be a different shape, in that it has a slight curve. Thought I could use the same part as on the gas lid, but apparently not. I can't find any nose emblems on eBay or on the Corvette America site.

Any advice or suggestions? Are the two emblems in fact different?

I did some searching and most places only sell the nose emblem for the 1982 Collector Edition... Oddd??
I did find a reference at ECKLERS for a regular series Corvette emblem, but they appear to be out-of-stock??

yes they are different. I have watched for stuff like that in the past and it is rare to see a nos front emblem. Yet there seems to be a ton of the collector edition nose emblems. You could try going with the part number to a GM dealer and let him do a nation wide search and possibly get lucky if some dealer has one sitting collecting dust.

Hi John. Welcome to the forum. A few weeks ago I gave a new member a lead for rear window trim available in Red Deer from a guy that has that has a bunch of old Corvette parts. Might give them a try.
