remove the hold down clamp and soak the base with a good penetrating oil or fogging oil. start trying to get the dist. to move so you can pull it out. don't use wd 40, it's NOT a penetrating oil and only a water disperser - very over rated product. i use breakaway or pb blaster or fogging oil.
