Found out that because my truck was a 292cid the mounts were different than any other 60’s truck, and would not work for a LS Swap or any other V8, also that a mid 80’s transmission cross member will fit and work with my 4l60e. Went on kijiji Saturday and met a guy that had mounts off a 65 C10. He also had Dirty Dingo LS adjustable brackets that work, and the ones I had would not work. Found a mid 80’s truck on kijiji again on Saturday, that I went out to take the cross member out of. He knew my Dad back in the 70’s and helped me out getting the cross member. Can’t wait to drop this Chevrolet Orange 5.3L in tomorrow with a guy that volunteered to help, that has Turbo LS swapped Mustang that I sold a oil pan to off kijiji The car community is great
