1959 door lock/latch

I made the mistake of playing with the door lock. Now the door opens from the inside but not the outside. What can I do to fix this?

You'll need to access behind the door panel. There's a rod (held on with bushings) that's likely fallen off / out of place. Replace the bushing if worn. Pop the rod back in place.
If you don't find it hanging loose, it may have fallen to the base of the door.
