This makes me feel dumb, but here it goes. Purchased a beautiful O5 convertible and setup preferences for both key fobs. Car is originally a US car and dash speedo switches to metric just fine. However, it only recognizes and changes settings (including dash, seats, etc.) with key Fob #2. Key Fob #1 doesn't change any settings - I have to press driver 1 on the door for the changes. It's not the battery.

Google how to reprogram the key fob. It's a procedure but it sounds like that could be your problem. JMO
