One shop 24 x44 poured 6 inches thick with wire mesh in 1980. The other shop 40 x88 poured around 1997 , 4 to 5 inches thick with fibreglass reinforced concrete , packed gravel bases , never heated and never cracked. The small shop was straight slab no relief cuts , the bigger shop we cut some...
We ordered a 2022 1lz HTC, car was mainly for my wife, upgrade to a 2 lz was, I think 10000 bucks or so, only thing on that upgrade that I would have liked is the HUD but was not going to pay 10 grand for that. We added the performance exhaust and painted calipers. Personally do not care for...
1st Vette, your pictures and comments on the weather bring back lots of memories for me. Worked in exploration mining my whole life, first trips to NT in 76 and 77 during the summer , then back again for the diamond rush every year from 1993 untill 2008 exploration drilling . We would come mid...
Yes well Mobil 1 0 w 40 on hot summer days in my Gallardo in stop and go traffic would drop the oil pressure to less than 10 lbs at idle and trip the low oil pressure warning light. Switched to Amsoil and it never happened again, always 20 psi minimum. Personally not a fan of Mobil 1 . But...
Nice Ian ! Hers is also a 6 speed with about 80000 KMS on it and also still runs strong. Original clutch and brakes , but has had the tires replaced a few times.
I also wanted a 458 but ended up with a GT4RS, 50000 cheaper, ( I got a 2023 with 450km’s on it )ten years newer , revs to 9000, bullet proof and track ready. The car is a beast! But as you say they are probably one of the last NA cars left. It is a shame for sure . I have never driven a Z06 but...
If you have a business , open a commercial account with a distributor, I have had one for 40 years with the same distributor I can give you his contact info if you want. Commercial pricing is better than what is listed on their website. Once the account is open you just deal direct with Amsoil...
I have a Shelby gt 350, Gallardo SE and a Porsche GT4RS, they all sound amazing from behind the wheel and add to the smile on my face when I step on the throttle. The C8 is an awesome car as well but I tend to agree that it needs a V8 rumble that you need to hear and feel from the drivers seat...
On my C 5 when it was pegged all the way to the right it was the sensor. Replaced and it has been fine for a year now. I am original owner and did not want to cut cowling so removed the intake, not that big of a deal, afternoon job.
Awesome job Vacek. Lots of times these mods that people do look tacky and cheap taking away from the car. What you have done and the way you have done it greatly enhances the look of the car, at least to me anyways.
