They will likely fully remove the original trans and have the car ready for the new one to be installed when it arrives... if they have the floor space to let your car sit in disassembled mode for a week or so.

Mine came by Fedex. There was a customs/duty fee I had to pay when delivered. I wasn’t home so they left a note. I paid the fee online and it was delivered next day.
I have had it on both of my C8s. There are regular areas that I drive where the memory feature kicks in as I approach, and out afterwards. Love having it.
