Hello
Can anyone recommend a reputable shop or mechanic that knows Corvettes? I’m in the Muskoka area. I’m looking to get a new shifter knob installed and someone to diagnose my TPMS issue.
Thanks for your help!

Thank you for your suggestion but it didn’t work. After about 35 klm’s of driving the error message came back on the dash. It was the LR tire that showed no pressure. Maybe have to consider taking it to a dealer?

Thank you for responding. You raise a very good potential issue. I am sure it has been done both ways but I am double checking. I’m also waiting for a reply from GM Parts Depot whether their TPMS require programming, then pairing. I will keep you posted. Thanks again, much appreciated 👍
I have done what you suggested. They are calling for rain today, not sure if I’ll get a chance to go for a ride. If not today it will be tomorrow for sure.
Just curious does anybody have a good electronic diagnostic shop recommendation for our Corvette electrical gremlins? I’m up in the Barrie, Orillia area.

Thank you for responding. No I have not tried disconnecting the battery but I will definitely give it a try! In your post #2 you mention removing the black terminal first. I assume after that I would remove the positive terminal?
I will post the results. Thanks again!
Hi Murray, I’ve had 2 sets of (new bought) TPMS Sensors installed in the car within the last year. One set from Napa and the other from GM Parts Depot. The set from GM were installed last fall with less than 3000klm on them. Because I’m only having an issue with the rears, GM just sent me 2...
Hello
An update on my TPMS Issue. I just replaced the tires last Thursday so I installed new TPMS Sensors on both rear rims. Sure enough after driving about 35klm’s on my way home I got the same error code on the dash.
I can park the car overnight, come out in the morning and start it and...
I’m getting a new set of Continentals in a few weeks and was wondering if I should get a new alignment? The existing tires are showing no signs of uneven tire wear. Is the “norm” to get an alignment after new tire installation? If so is there a go to alignment shop in the Muskoka area?
Thanks!
