My takeaway from this is; "it was ordered for stock". What happened to the "hundreds of people" on waitlists for these cars? If this is indeed true there should be no stock orders.

Nope, not me. Mine came with factory coloured stitching. A forum member here coloured his white stitching orange. Looked great, but had to reapply every three months due to fading.

My dealership wanted wanted $3178.00 and told me that was their family & friends rate. I told him I’m shopping around so sharpen your pencil. He then said I can knock off $200 if that helps ya. Hence, I bought at the above dealer and the above price with no song and dance or anything.

Appreciate the heads up to @CamsC8 for this thread. Thanks @C8vette19 for Don's info. He hooked me up with the $1999 extended warranty. I had to pay a $179 surcharge for 2020MY, but still the best deal around.

I have a 2020 HTC that will be out of factory warranty in about a month. I'll contact Don and see if he can hook me up for that price.
