I am with Budds Chevy Oakville. They were telling me they are surprised by this as well and GM has asked them to do this.

This thread is not about the DCT external filter service which is usually done at 12000 kms. My deal just told me that at 3yr mark regardless of mileage there is an INTERNAL filter service that is going to cost me $2K. Can anyone confirm if this is the case and it the price is right?

Is that the non valved version? Where did you order it from?

Dont listen to anyone who says its normal as its not. Get the dealer to change both pads and rotors at the same time and use the copper paste. This solved it for me.
