if this push button does not work today? should I buy a new starter, alternator computer or should I by pass the whole silly over engineered system chevy installed and put in a viper or something ? what should I do?

I HAVE A C6 CORVETTE CONV.I CAN NOT PROGRAM THE KEY FOBS BECAUSE I CANT GET IT TO GO IN TO ACC OR LEARN MODE ON THE DICi HAVE TRIED DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY,REMOVING FUSE NUMBER11,HOLDING THE START BUTTON AND THE KEY FOB ,CHANGED BATTERY IN CAR AND KEY FOB,....WHAT SHOULD I DO?
