I forgot to mention i also replaced the IAC and that did not help...it takes many cranks when cold and even more cranks when hot. it eventually fires up and runs great. The car is unreliable to take out for a drive and just wont restart without pulling out what ever hair i have left.

I’ve replaced the two mini struts in the hood and it still is not popping up. This is a real brain teaser. I can’t figure out how to fix this.

There must be away to adjust or repair th latch mechanism so it springs up an inch or two.

I have cleaned and lubricated them. The hood still will not spring open. It is opening but I need to physically hold the release lever , lean over the doo and lift it off the latch.
