Thanks to every one who replied. I plan to ask this service dept for a reason why I should do this. I made the appointment when I was having my XT5 serviced. They called me later about the throttle body. I will post their reason Wednesday afternoon.

It is left hand drive. There is a few over there that are converted to right hand drive. GM never made a right hand drive vett. The closest they ever came was they shipped a brand new vette to Australia for a show and then did the conversion and sold it instead of shipping it home.

March in NZ is like October here. They are opposite to us. The best time to visit NZ is late February or March. Weather is beautiful and the prices to get there are dropping.
