    Question Custom Exhaust in Calgary

No no drone at all and a bit louder than stock. As they break in they are sounding better. The 50’s are probably want you’d want from Flowmaster. I also had them add a crossover which also mellows it out a bit more. ETA: I see you have a C6 this is on a 1976 C3 so probably a completely different...

    Question Custom Exhaust in Calgary

No I replaced everything. Stock is 1.75” and not true dual with a catalytic converter and a lot more rusty. This is new 2.5” pipe and Flowmaster Delta 50s

    Question Custom Exhaust in Calgary

Just to update this thread I had this work done at Minute Muffler on 17th Ave SE & 52nd St. They were recommended by Western Corvette. Nice job and reasonable price. Great attention to detail. The Flowmaster Delta 50’s are on the mellow side and that’s what I was wanting.

    Question Custom Exhaust in Calgary

Looking to have 2.5” dual exhaust installed from stock manifold to Flowmaster 50’s that I have. Was quoted around $1400 for the pipe material and labour. Seems a bit high to me I was thinking more around $1k. Just wondering if anyone has had work done in the last few years and what they paid...

    C3 Buying advice

Look on the frame in front of the rear wheels that's probably the worst place. If there are holes there I'd move on as it's most likley also in places you can't see. You can look at the frame around the windshield as well. There is a plate inside the rear wheel well that can be removed to see...

C3 without rust in Canada? Is it possible?

Forgot to post back here that I ended up finding a nice 1976 L82 4-Speed with 67000 miles and rust free. Bought from second owner who had it since 1991 and only put 2000 miles on it, always garaged. So yes they are out there...

C3 without rust in Canada? Is it possible?

Yes I’ve noticed most sellers have no clue about rust when you ask about it. I’m going to look at what looks like a very clean one today. It’s more than I was wanting to spend but I’ve learned with these cars it’s better to spend more for a good one. Thanks

C3 without rust in Canada? Is it possible?

Well if it’s there then it’s the tip of the iceberg it’s also where you can’t see also further up. So frame off work isn’t my idea of an easy fix. So many sellers are oblivious to the rust issues that plague these cars and have no clue when you ask about it. But I’m happy to report I think I...

Looking at a 76 and 79 any recommendations?

I've been telling him for 3 days I'll come down and give him his full asking price. But the latest is he's waiting for a guy to fly here from Toronto that's going to give him $1500 over asking. Supposed to be here this morning, now it's tonight. Anyway, I don't think the guy really wants to sell...

C3 without rust in Canada? Is it possible?

Hi new here just wondering if it's possible to find a C3 without rust holes forward of the rear wheels on the frame in these Northern climates? Looked at a few and they all seem to have it to some degree. And I worry about what I can't see. Looked at this one today a 1975

I was trying to buy the orange one as well. A bit of a run around with the guy stories of bidding wars for it. I'm still trying...
