Unless you are getting GM Employee pricing, you aren't going to find a dealer to sell you a 2018 for invoice price, which is about 10% off MSRP. The best you'll probably find is about 5% off MSRP. Your best chance at 10% off is going to be on a leftover 2017 but even then that is rare right now...
When I ordered my 2018 Corvette they also tried to upsell me on the paint protection package and they told me it was a ceramic coating but I didn't believe it so I researched further on Diamond Kote and it really just seems like a regular sealant you could buy for $20, but they want $699 to do...
You're definitely going crazy if you've seen the clock hit 3:96! :p
And you're not alone, I definitely think it's cool when it hits one of those "car numbers". I also like it when it says 11:11, 1:11, 2:22, etc. :D
I'm averaging 22 MPG in my 98 (automatic with 3.15 gears) lately, but there is no rush hour traffic involved there. On a pure highway trip I've seen over 30. These numbers are according to the DIC (which I've found to be very accurate in my car, it's only off by a couple of tenths)
I missed the show yesterday but is there any way to still buy raffle tickets for that new Crystal Red C6? I'd sure love to win that, that's my favorite new color on the C6! :)
Nobody else has posted this up yet and it's only a week and a half away, so I thought I'd remind everyone that Wilson Niblett's annual Hillfest event is on Sunday May 31st. Hope to see a ton of you guys (and gals) there!
I like it a lot! I don't think I'd order it with the hash marks though. I'd probably order it in Crystal Red or Jetstream Blue.
I bet a lot of people get them in white with red hash marks so they resemble the Ron Fellow's edition.
FWIW, that stock went from $5.73 to $6.16 already. Had I invested $10,000 in it, I could've made $750 from it so far. Excellent stock tip there Steve! :)
