    Thanks for all your replies. I insured it through Hagerty, and i took your advise and got it appraised. It was valued at 29K so was worth doing. Only issue with Hagerty is the limit on the mileage 6k - will have to see how that goes as i am really enjoying the summer evening cruise with the top...

    Hi Carol, At TCS or is it TSC? you can buy a horse cow mat for around $50-$75. its about 1/2" thick and comes in sheets of 4 ft x 6ft go have a look at that and see if it will work, i use it at work and its really tough. You can cut it with a sharp knife. Hope that's of some help
