You are correct that is the way I would expect it to work but mine does not do that. So a dealer trip next week. -

I held the brake on for 45 seconds and it still moved backward a few inches. Well it will be a discussion when I go back to the dealer next week as I am going to pick up my framed Window Sticker. -

They told me to hold the brake on for a few seconds and it should work. I haven't had a chance to check this out as the car is at the detailing shop getting its Ceramic etc. -

Some good news on the recall.
It also depends on were the closest gas station is. Mine had 7 KMS on it. But the tank was full. ($100.00 was included on my invoice for gas). I watched it being moved on the CHEV app. -

You know it will have the PPF the Ceramic Coating the Tinted windows. So it's protected now. So drive it as it will make you very happy plus it won't get hurt. THEY DON'T MELT IN THE RAIN.
