Oil Consumption
Having raced dry sump power plants for years, I feel that a dry sump tank has no need to be full to capacity- interesting things happen with a full tank just as they do with a low tank..that is just anecdotal evidence, but I keep my Z51 at the half mark (9 litres at oil change-instead of 9.3)... -

Performance figures do not seem to give an advantage to the 8 sp. Seems it was a way to gain on the CAFE rules for GM..I could be wrong. but more speeds do not equate to more speed... -

Does this mean that my 2014 Z51 conv' sitting under the car cover till spring has not depreciated? With the cost increase by GM it should be still worth the 72,000.00 all in price that I paid last June---lol -

I hope everyone got the answer from some very good posts here. Direct injection poses some problems prior methods of fuel injection did not encounter. The catch can certainly won't hurt- It's like chicken soup..lol. They are not used at spring mountain, but the maintenance on those C7's is much... -

Got my personalized C7 Plates today
Alberta- $215.00 with 7 letters. Mine says 250MPHR was refused 250 MPH as that format was reserved for the gov't use. Had to submit a story explaining what the plate means and reason for ...no problem -
