My 88 C4 needs winshield replaced. Is it neccessary to replace the A Pillar gasket? mine is worn pretty well.

88 won't start. new starter 2 months ago. don't drive much in winter. keep garaged. ran it yesterday(100 mile roundtrip) and ran great. got in this am and dead battery. charged it up started up. sat an hour while I cleaned it up and dead again. tested it with my tester and it said 568 CC and...

I tried that but doesn't even move. I'll keep trying. Walked away from it for a day or two. I've gotta be in the mood. I have spent probably 4 hour trying.

Hinge problem. Hood hinge cable broke/jammed on my 88 (can't open the hood) . I bought the tool from Ecklers but can't even come close to getting it to work. anyone have any experience?
