OP, I have driven through 46 states and have been always had a positive experience with Americans and found them to be very friendly, especially when they learn I'm from Canada. As a matter of fact, crossing the border into the US has always been a professional and courteous experience for me...

The C7 seems to be even more fuel efficient than my C6, I estimate the range on mine to be 900km+, don't know why the govt. rating is so conservative though.
