I had called Nigel, and he told me around a 2600 stall convertor. Since it will strictly be street driving.

I have taken it to two reputable shops, and they both said it needs a rebuild. Bu toot happens so irregularly, a couple of good freinds of mine had the same problem, and it was a bad ground in the computer. Who knows?

Hi All. Would it be cheaper to purchase a remanufactured transmission, rather than getting mine rebuilt. Ever since I went to 342 rear gears from 273,s, its slipping in 4th, but only intermittingly.

I most likely will. They installed 342 differential in place of the stock 273, s on my 99 A4.

Hi all. Since I have put a set of 342 rear gear into my 99 A4 c5 corvette I have had problems, like yesterday tranny was shifting like butter, then I heard it start to slip in 4th gear. This has happened before but this time the check engine light came on and throwing a 10-PCM-1870 code, which...

Going to have the rad and condenser cleaned maybe flushed and drop the tranny fluid and install new filter to see if that will make any difference. It maybe that the torque convertor isn't fully releasing when hot. If that doesn't kelp the situation, will take back to RACE READY.

Hey all. Was just wondering if anyone would know of an easier way to change out the sensor on my 99 C5, other than taking the intake manifold off, or cutting a hole in the top shroud where the wipers are?

Also noticed when kicking it down from a dead stop. the ABS, and Service traction control service light comes on. Weather that has anything to do with it, I don't know.
