Why would you want to spoil a great regular sounding car and wind up using earplugs for every ride over 15 minutes.
My C6 2012 has a Borla cat back and sounds great.
Amazon.ca have a host of LED's...get the ones that are adjustable (able to rotate light bar) with an allen key for low & highs.
Did my '98 C5 Low & High beams plus back ups...worked great.
Now looking to do the High Beams & Fogs on my C6 in the spring.
I have a 2012 C6 and in the arm rest compartment there is a USB Port at the back end of it. I play my "stick" with 41 hours of my music all the time. Is this not a standard feature???
Go with stock set-up...GM engineers know more than aftermarket parts suppliers...when do you run at steady 6,000rpm where a low?? restriction filter may give you a little bit extra. Save your money...go Stock.
Give Rock Auto a call and buy the Schrader product. I put them in my C5 (need the magnet to sync) C6 requires a digital set-up which all tire stores will have.
Hey Skvitt:
I just traded in a 1998 C5 Convertible at Ontario Motor Sales in Oshawa with only 58,000km on the dial...brand new X drilled rotors front & back with new pads, Corsa Cat-Back, K&N Filter...new coolant etc. etc. New LED's all round. Does not burn any oil and gets 33mpg on the Hwy...
Couple of Don't's...don't leave old oil/filter in engine, change it. Don't leave tires on concrete floor, put some corrugated cardboard under tires. Don't put on the emergency brake. Don't leave wiper blades on the glass, prop up the wiper arms.
Special Note: When deciding on which LED bulbs to buy...purchase the type that have the "adjustable collar" so that you can install the bulbs with the led's in the 3 o'clock & 9 o'clock position.
