I have a somewhat similar situation at idle i hear nothing but when i accelerate, i hear a whine/whislte at around 2500rpm. I changed belts, pulleys no improvement. Spoke to a mechanic and he told me GM Alternators are known to have this high pitched whistle. Anyone else experienced this?

Make sure you have the anti-slip additive in it. When i did mine i went it was a separate bottle that i had to pour in, but I've seen some manufacturers with it premixed. I stuck with the OEM and used AC Delco brand from the dealer.

Can you tell me who tinted you vehicle. Im looking to get mine done and want someone who has experience with the rear window. I've been to a few shop's around me and they won't guarantee the rear window. Thanks!

I use Vachon Insurance Group in Etobicoke. TD insurance wanted an appraisal, Vachon just wanted pictures. My policy is actually with CAA and they allow me to remove the collision portion when I store the vehicle for 6 months reducing my premium. I pay around $450 per year for a 2001 C5.
