CAA said they put this $1,500 surcharge on all vehicles costing $125k and over. NO way I will let any electronics shop play with my car. They were always the best pricing on all my other cars....but had to use an insurance broker to get anything near acceptable on a car exceeding this price...

Thanks Gilles...not sure if I will keep the car at the increased pricing...but hate to pass on the allocation after a long wait. Should be able to drive it a touch, and at least get the full amount back??

Yes exactly, big decision as I am next up for allocation and hate to turn it down after waiting so long

How long do you have to keep a C8Z06 before you can sell it in Canada, without repercussions from GM ?? (Warranty, Blacklisted...etc)

Yes I agree with both of your thought patterns and was use to paying an additional $25K to move up to the more aggressive Z06 in past model years. These 2024 units will be a $200K car with all taxes, and I know there is no better bang for the buck...but a huge leap from earlier times.

I was considering buying aC8Z06, but the increased 2024 price hike and Lux Tax on top of that, just seems so huge a difference over the regular Z51. What would any of you new Z06 owners say about your purchase?
