    my car hasnt been stuck in park, with my foot on the brake with the engine running it can be shifted into any gear , just not trany engagement . I did see the micro switch everyone has mentioned . I manually engaged still no joy ?

    I AM NOT THIS PERSON BUT I PARKED ON A HILL / EVERYTHING WAS GOOD TILL THE NEXT DAY i WENT TO MOVE THE VETT. STARTED THE CAR / PUT INTO GEAR AND NOTHING HAPPENED ?
