    If you have the TH400 (which I don't think were offered in '75...but do check), then it's a straight swap. If you have the TH350, then the tranny will fit but you have to either change the drive shaft or (I think) shorten it. Which can be done at any drive shaft place.

    Remove the tube, replace with shower surround (tile) and put a steam generator there. They can be picked up relatively cheap (around $800) these days. Likely, the property value will go up. Not too many homes that have a steam room...
