I did mine @ 1500. Using a GM visa card gave me an extra 2 within the same period. So I would never go over the mileage in time. Figure fresh free oil is worth it. Now if they extend the time. I am curious if the 2 extras from GM visa would also be extended ....

Could the car be placed back in transportation mode to limit the electronic draw in the back ground ? Not sure if that is a helpful solution but someone smarter than I, shall know

Interesting side note on that sticker, it shows two oil changes but not the trans filter as discussed in another thread. Pretty sure if certain prices and option costs are not available @ time of production they unfortunately provide that.
