Actually, It dims when running lights/headlights come on. It doesn't dim gradually as you wind down the switch. Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, there is no simple way to go from MPH to Kmh. It's in MPH and its installed.... Essentially, I was sent the wrong kit, no way to tell...

Corvette Depot has the kit available, and, being in Canada, takes care of any Covid related delays regarding customs and duty etc...never mind the exchange rate. A few other things to tackle first tho'. But definitely, I'll post EVERYTHING... :p

It's just how the Turbo 350 and the 3.55's turned out. Sure, i could push it to 110kmh, but not for very long...engine was just screaming at that point....

The place I had the work done made several calls, but without major shipping charges, couldn't locate a 700r4 close by. I decided to check out Marketplace on FB. Lo and behold, found one here in Langley, BC. $300. :-D I had a COMPLETE rebuild done on it.

Yes it would've been great to simply swap back to the 2.87. It was the previous owner made that change, and to swap it back, very costly as I found out.

So, just finished this project. A few adjustments still. The extra length of the 700r4 requires a driveshaft shortening of 2 1/2 inches. As well, a new Transmission Crossmember support bracket which I acquired from Bowtie Overdrives in California. These folk specialize in this and make custom...
