    Opinion on radar detectors

I have a Valentine V1 listed in the classified section. It's not the most recent model but sure worked well for me. No tickets in 5+ years.

    More on luxury tax

I paid a luxury tax component on a purchase a few months ago but don't really understand how it was calculated. Vehicle price was over $100,000 then there were several other fees plus PPF and ceramic coating. Lux tax was almost $4,000 :Banghead:

36mo later still waiting for my allocation, and from 2LT to 1LT

True, but if you order a 1LT due to lower price than a 2LT it's not likely you would add a bunch of extras. Also, dealers with 2023 models in inventory might just work with a buyer on price. OP has options beyond his current dealer.

36mo later still waiting for my allocation, and from 2LT to 1LT

I just did a quick search on outotrader.ca and found 8 NEW Corvettes priced from $99,995 for 1LT to $123,314 for 3LT. If I was in the market I's be on the phone to lock one up today.

    Merry Christmas All

That first picture reminds my of our first Corvette. It was a 1969 L89 coupe. We were young and it was our only car. To get our tree home I took out the removable rear window, threw a blanket in the rear deck. Wife held the trunk of the tree between the seats so we could get it home. Christmas...

Looks the prices of the C8 Stingray going up another $10k in Canada, base 1LT coupe to start above 100k

GM does need to cover their losses on EVs somewhere. Looks like Corvette is it. US base price still shows $69,995 and with current exchange rate of 1.3554 Gives you $94,871 it's time to start importing from the USA again.

1 bucket list item you want to do with your car

My bucket list is pretty much complete: 2000 trip to Bowling Green with my son in our 2000 Corvette "BMBLBEE" for the Birthday Bash. Did it again with him in 2002 again for the Birthday bash Flew to Indianapolis in 2006 to pick up a Chevy SSR Final Production Run and drove it home with my son...

I use Kijiji to sell stuff in Calgary but there's not much Corvette specific aftermarket stuff especially for a C8

What would you do? Neighbour damaged tires.

VERY good point and I hope there are many like you out there. If the contractor in question left all that crap on the road and left the site without sweeping it up he might not be inclined to step up as you do with your clients. Cheers

What would you do? Neighbour damaged tires.

If you neighbor is a decent person his home owners insurance should cover the damage. I suspect the contractor who washed all the crap onto the road would run like hell but he should also have insurance that would cover replacing your tires.
