I am a first time Vette Buyer. Loved the C7 in the Laguna Blue. That was one that I would have gone for. But I had known that the C8 was going to be a mid engine. It was hard to be patient but I had felt that the C8 would be the deal of a lifetime. Performance to rival the European Mid's at a much lower price. So I have pulled the trigger. Call it my mid life reward. As a youngster, my sister had two vettes. A '77 L82 in Metallic Mid Blue and also a '76 Red with the CanAm Body Kit. She was an Ontario Corvette Club member and did the shows back in the 80's. Loved them both and it was nice to get rides to school from her in those cars. I guess my spec'd 2020 C8 is a bit of a tribute to that time in my youth.
