    Such an incredible post! Thanks. I am fascinated! The photo of the old Pontiac is interesting too. My family had one. It was a two door, labelled all over the car "Pontiac" yet somehow had been built without the stripes on the hood. That was my Father's story, and I'm sticking to it! Dave

    Just found this thread! Fascinating reading. Adding to the uses for coca cola: toilet plugged? Pour in a large bottle of coke. Let it sit for a while. Works.

    We bought our transparent top from a vendor who told us it was complete. it is not. If someone wishes to replace a damaged C7 top it would be a good swap by taking parts from a damaged top, and putting them on this one.

    We have one. A C7 Corvette transparent top. When we bought it we were told it was complete; it's not. However, if you bought it you could transfer parts from your top to this top. Dave

    I use Google Maps to check traffic. I don't see those features. I'll check and see how old my Google Maps app is on my iPhone.

    Google maps....waze....I like the format in WAZE. I like the road condition reports, and networking that gives police reports. There are so many wazers that the reports are pretty accurate. I don't find google maps very helpful, and don't use it as gps. Maybe I'm missing something.

    I'm a dog owner too. Had 3 Golden Retrievers. Home Hardware sells an incredible dog brush that greatly simplifies cleaning hair on clothes and in cars. I've looked for a link. "dirt hook" is on one of mine. It has brass bristles; costs about $13

    So we have WAZE on two phones.In fact I have a new phone, so we've had 3! All iPhones; but different versions. In the Corvette if we use Apple Car Play and one of the phones plugged in (behind the screen, or in the console) the speed we're going is shown accurately as a feature of WAZE and shown...

    We use an Apple cable on our iPhone. Tried newer iPhone. Same problem. We've tried it behind the screen on our shelf; and in the Console too.
