Well, one key error in that article. The DCT hasn't been subject to a dozen recalls. TSBs, yes, but not recalls. I can understand the lay media not knowing the difference, but something that calls itself "Corvette Magazine" should know better.
I've also not seen anyone else report Tremec is changing suppliers. The revised oiling system (no need for a track fill) is the same change that Z06 transaxles got from the very beginning, and there was no indication the Z06 case came from a different supplier than the Stingray case.
Remember, not everything you read on the internet (or in print) is true.
